Manufacturing Process of Refined Sunflower, Rapeseed and Soybean Oil
Degumming
Purpose: Remove phospholipids, which can cause emulsification issues.
Process: Water or acid is added to the crude rapeseed oil, hydrating and precipitating the phospholipids. The hydrated phospholipids are then separated by centrifugation.
Neutralization
Purpose: To remove free fatty acids (FFAs) that can lead to off-flavours and reduce oil stability.
Process: An alkali solution, usually sodium hydroxide, is mixed with the rapeseed oil, neutralising the FFAs to form soapstock, then separated from the oil by centrifugation.
Bleaching
Purpose: To remove pigments, oxidation products, and trace metals that affect the rapeseed oil's colour and stability.
Process: The sunflower, rapeseed, and soybean oils are mixed with bleaching earth (a type of clay) or activated carbon, which adsorbs the unwanted compounds. The mixture is then filtered to remove the adsorbent and impurities.
Deodorization
Purpose: Remove volatile compounds that cause off-flavours and odours.
Process: The sunflower, rapeseed, and soybean oils are subjected to high-temperature steam distillation under vacuum conditions, which strips away the volatile components.
Winterization/Fractionation
Purpose: To remove higher melting point triglycerides that can cause cloudiness in the rapeseed oil at low temperatures.
Process: The oil is slowly cooled, allowing the higher melting point triglycerides to crystallise and be removed by filtration.

Advantages of Vegetable Oils for Human Health
Heart Health
High in monounsaturated fats (oleic acid) and low in saturated fats can it helps reduce LDL cholesterol levels and lower the risk of heart disease.
Omega-3 Fatty Acids
Contains alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), an essential omega-3 fatty acid that supports cardiovascular health and brain function.
Antioxidant Properties
Rich in vitamin E (tocopherols), which helps protect cells from oxidative damage.
Anti-inflammatorys
The balanced ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acids can help reduce inflammation in the body.

Refined Oils for Sale in Bulk: Sunflower, Rapeseed, and Soybean from a Direct Manufacturer
Buying refined vegetable oil at scale means one decision matters more than any other: who actually made the product. At Traders Long Group, we are the manufacturer — not a trader sourcing from third parties and reselling with a margin on top. Our sunflower, rapeseed, and soybean oils go through full-cycle processing at our own Ukrainian facilities, from raw seed to finished refined product, before being shipped directly to buyers across more than 30 countries.
That distinction has a direct impact on refined oil wholesale price. When there is no intermediary in the supply chain, the cost savings reach the buyer. It also means full traceability — we can account for every stage of production, which matters increasingly to food manufacturers and retail chains operating under strict ingredient sourcing requirements.
What Bulk Refined Oil from Traders Long Group Actually Looks Like
Our three refined oil product lines each go through a five-stage refining process: degumming, neutralisation, bleaching, deodorisation, and winterisation. Each stage serves a specific purpose — removing phospholipids, free fatty acids, pigments, volatile off-flavours, and high-melting triglycerides that would otherwise reduce shelf stability and cooking performance.
The result across all three oils is a light-coloured, flavour-neutral product with a high smoke point, long shelf life, and the technical consistency that industrial buyers and retail private label clients require. Annual production capacity at our processing plant reaches:
- 54,000 tonnes of refined sunflower oil — bleached, deodorised, winterised, P grade
- 22,000 tonnes of refined soybean oil — refined and deodorised
- 15,000 tonnes of refined rapeseed oil — refined and deodorised
These are not theoretical figures. They reflect our actual installed processing capacity, which gives buyers confidence in supply continuity across annual contracts.
Applications That Drive Demand for Wholesale Refined Oil
The neutral flavour profile and high smoke point across our refined range make these oils technically suited to a wide range of food industry applications. Buyers source from us for use in frying and sautéing operations, salad dressing and mayonnaise production, margarine and shortening manufacturing, and as base oils in blended vegetable oil formulations. Retail distributors order bottled product for consumer markets — available in formats from 850 ml to 5 litres with private label options.
For the HoReCa sector, we also supply dedicated deep-frying formats in 5L to 20L containers where extended frying stability is the primary technical requirement.
Purchase Conditions, Refined Oil Wholesale Price, and Delivery
As a wholesale refined oil supplier serving buyers across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and North America, we work with flexible Incoterms — FCA, DAP, DDP, CFR, and CIF — depending on the buyer's logistics setup and destination country. Bulk loading is available via tank trucks (24 Mt) or flexi bags in 20-foot containers (20 Mt). Bottled solutions ship by truck at 22 Mt per load.
Refined oil online shopping for B2B volumes doesn't work with a fixed price list — grades, volumes, formats, and destinations all affect the final number. We provide itemised quotes on request with no obligation.
