Growing
All crops are grown using different tillage technologies - from
classical ones to no-till. A differentiated approach to
cultivation allows us to obtain a high yield and preserve the
potential of the land depending on the condition of the soil,
weather conditions, moisture, as well as the culture being grown.
Warehouse facilities are located close to production areas in
logistically developed locations, which allows the convenient
shipment of products by land (both road and rail transport).
Logistic and supply basis
The warehouse facilities are located next to the production areas in convenient logistics locations, which allows the shipment of products in bulk by land. When shipped by land, the big bags packaging is possible. Products are sold on the basis of Incoterms-2020: FCA, CPT, DAP, DDP.
Assortment range
The grown products meet the requirements of the State Standart of Ukraine. In addition, the certification can be made depending on the culture, sales market and further purpose. The assortment is represented by grain, oil and leguminous crops, such as:
Wheat
Barley
Rye
Corn
Soybean
Rapeseed
Sunflower
Commercial Grain Farming in Ukraine: Crops Cultivation, Storage, and Bulk Supply
Ukraine's agricultural output is not a coincidence; it follows from deep black soil, a favourable continental climate, and decades of accumulated farming knowledge. At Traders Long Group, our grain farming operation is built on all three. We cultivate grain, oilseed, and leguminous crops across five regions of Ukraine, applying tillage technologies that range from classical to no-till depending on what each field and season demands. The result is a raw material base that feeds our own processing operations and supplies international buyers with the consistent, traceable crop quality that serious procurement teams require.
This is not contract farming or third-party sourcing dressed up as production. The land, the equipment, the silo systems, and the logistics are ours.
How Our Approach to Crops Cultivation Protects Yield and Soil Quality
The choice between conventional tillage and no-till is not ideological at Traders Long Group — it's agronomic. Each field is assessed for soil condition, moisture levels, and the specific crop being grown before a tillage decision is made. This differentiated approach to cultivation farming allows us to maximise yield without depleting the productive potential of the land across successive seasons.
For buyers, this matters because supply consistency over time depends on how the land is managed. A farming operation that mines its soil for short-term yield creates supply risk downstream. Our approach is built to sustain output across years, not just maximise one harvest.
The crops we cultivate and make available for bulk sale include:
- grain crops: wheat, barley, rye, corn
- oilseed crops: sunflower, rapeseed, soybean
- all grown to meet the requirements of the State Standard of Ukraine, with additional certification available depending on the target market and end-use purpose
Crop Storage Infrastructure That Preserves Quality Between Harvest and Shipment
Grain quality degrades in storage when the infrastructure is inadequate. Temperature fluctuations, moisture ingress, and poor ventilation all reduce the commercial value of a crop between harvest and delivery. Our certified silo systems, distributed across five Ukrainian regions, are specifically designed for the receipt, cleaning, drying, and storage of sunflower seeds, rapeseed, and soybeans, and handle cereal grains across the same facilities.
Warehouse locations are chosen for their proximity to production areas and access to road and rail transport links. This combination reduces the time between harvest and shipment and gives buyers confidence that what was grown is what gets delivered — without extended storage periods introducing quality deterioration or contamination risk.
Commercial Grain Farming Supply: Purchase Conditions and Delivery
All products from our farming grain operation are sold under Incoterms 2020 terms: FCA, CPT, DAP, and DDP. Bulk shipment by road is the standard method, with big bag packaging available for land transport where required. Rail shipment is also available from our strategically positioned warehouse facilities.
Pricing is determined by crop, volume, Incoterms, destination, and current market conditions — a fixed price list is not how commodity grain trade works at this scale.
